Detailed Itinerary
Trip: Sunamganj / Anwarpur - Tanguar Haor - Sunamganj / Anwarpur (2 Days, 1 Night)
- Morning check-in at Sunamganj/Anwarpur. Enjoy a hearty breakfast of Chicken Akhni as the houseboat begins its journey.
- Cruise towards the Tanguar Haor Watch Tower, taking in the magnificent wetland views from the open front deck.
- Enjoy fresh fruits as a mid-morning snack before having a delicious local lunch onboard.
- Disembark to explore Lakma Chhara (local transport at personal expense), followed by a mesmerizing late afternoon at Niladri Lake (Shahid Siraj Lake).
- Return to JhongGo for evening snacks and tea. Enjoy a freshly prepared dinner featuring local duck bhuna before an overnight stay onboard under the stars.
- Wake up early and enjoy a traditional Khichuri breakfast as the boat sets sail towards Shimul Bagan.
- Take a scenic walk through the beautiful Shimul Bagan (entry fee at personal expense).
- Visit Barikka Tila and experience the cold, crystal-clear waters of the Jadukata River.
- Return to the houseboat for a satisfying lunch as the return journey commences.
